Gazi Husrev bey's Public Kitchen and Hostelry was built in Sarajevo at the same time as the Bey’s Mosque was built, in 1530.〔(Gazi Husrev bey's Public Kitchen and Hostelry )〕 It was a two story building where students, endowment administrators, indigent travelers (for up to three days) and the needy were fed. The hostelry had similar purpose where it provided accommodation up for three nights for free, as well as for students, endowment administrators, indigent travelers. The ground floor spaces were commonly used as small shops, and in the same complex the Bakery was erected,〔(Gazi Husrev bey's Public Kitchen and Hostelry )〕 and even today serves as a bakery, under name "Imaret". In the same complex, but later, there was built a Clock Tower, which functioned as a Lunar clock, as it even today has the same purpose. ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Gazi Husrev bey's public kitchen and Hostelry」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
